Yea so i was at my buddies trying to put my fmic on and we ran out of time (around 3:00am) and i had to find a way home. we were one pipe short so we decided to just put the stocker side mount on so Id be drivable. no that big FMIC is plenty enough, the smic is actually restricting airflow.

That sidemount might do more harm than good - drop in pressure. Not that I'm a hater. I say rock it for a bit, then replace with a pipe between runs on a dyno, since you probably couldn't feel it.

I'm in the middle of doing injectors and fp right now so im not even driving it. I just put that smic on so I could make it home from my buddies after we hooked up the rest of the pipes. I couldn't tell ya if the side mount helps at all. I would guess that it would just restrict airflow and lose a little pressure at the same time. It's rice I know, that's half the reason i did it. haha hope you guys like it! But like I said, it's not stayin on haha.
