Where to get the spray on tint
 

As title states where can i buy the spray on tint. I need to tint my taillights so if anyone knows please post thanks!

eBay, Summit, Jegs, etc. Search Google "vht spray tint" and you'll get tons of hits.

Only local place I know is Red Rooster. They dont stock it but they can get it next day or same day. But otherwise I would go with summit. I always get my stuff in like 2 days with them.

Theres a store called Hobby town located in brooklyn park/center area.

They have a black paint called transparency black.

That works good for tinting tail lights.

I've heard of just using flat black paint from like wal mart for like $0.94. I'm gonna try it. If anyone else has done this, let me know before i screw my lights up.

No dont use flat black!
Its not transparent!

Probably on the first coat your whole tail light will turn black!

You need a transparent black. It has to say transparent black on it. Otherwise it will turn all black and your tail light wont turn on.

I wouldn't load it up with paint, i would just lightly dust it a few times.

No, do not use regular paint, it will come out looking like crap. Drop the extra $6 (hopefully it won't break your bank) and get it done right.
