Im sure most of you may not care, but being that the SRT is so new and all, i think this is pretty sweet. Some guy just put down 415whp and 407tq on his SRT, un tuned and through a 2.5 inch exhaust.
Hes getting it tuned, bigger FMIC and 3 inch exhaust and goin for 500whp+.
Anyone who cares to see the dynocharts or give theyre imput may ponder here......

Wow, I'm impressed :)

At-Least-It's-An-Evo 01-21-2004 10:15 PM

That's kinda laggy imo for only revving it to 6200 if even. ?

A//// Guy 01-21-2004 10:18 PM

Thats pretty nice. Im surprised he is using 550s only? But I guess a 2.4 is different than a 2.0 rev wise, thats why you dont use as much D/C?

I may be wrong or whatever but its still nice numbers.. If only it were AWD....

CVD 01-21-2004 10:39 PM

550's are fine for making that sort of power.....I hope.

I know Mara has 550's on her car.

Shane@DBPerformance 01-22-2004 01:13 AM

Hmm. Seems a little laggy for a 2.4l. Maybe the run was in 3rd gear though instead of 4th, that would make it look much laggier on the dyno. Otherwise if it is 4th, then it's spooling slower than a 2.0l DSM with a T3/T4, but without the RPM range to play with. That power on pump gas with 550s has to be pushing the inejctors to the limits though. You can get away with that power on 550s on race gas.

Turbochargers.com is a bunch of crooks and dumbasses though.

ACRucrazy 01-22-2004 09:34 AM

they are 550s at RCs 42 PSI, but when u run them at mopars 58psi they are like 660.

Hes goin back tonight and goin for 450/420.
Then when RC gets new injectors in 2 weeks and he gets the FMIC there may be more!
This is on that AGPturbokit I posted a few weeks back in the tech forum...

Shane@DBPerformance 01-22-2004 11:15 AM

So The SRT-4s run a base fuel pressure of 58psi?

Shane@DBPerformance 01-22-2004 06:26 PM

I got a video of it racing at the dragstrip. http://www.royalflushcustoms.com/videos/Bo...oth_stalled.wmv ;)

Blade 01-22-2004 08:19 PM

How do both cars stall in the same race? ha, now thats comedy......

Shane@DBPerformance 01-25-2004 02:25 PM

He should bring it to Forced Performance and get it tuned instead of dealing with the assclowns at Turbochargers.com.

ACRucrazy 01-25-2004 07:32 PM

Thats nice...

Ive noticed... ever have anthing nice to say? Dunno, just seems to cut everyone down.....

Aren't there any Neon boards you should be reading?

SquackDiddy 01-25-2004 07:52 PM

i know that 550s max out at 450 to 500 hp.

LoL. Told. Dude, dont get upset if you post something and not everyone is jumping for joy over it. You should expect every kind of response when you post. Especially when it has nothing to do with the majority of whats going on... by that I mean DSMs versus whatever.
