can someone help me solve this problem?..

Motor have a ticking nose. I had just rebuilted my head one month ago and replaced my block cause it had a bad rod bearing. My motor tick really loud when it idle around 1000 to 1800 rpm, but when i rev or drive past over 1800 rpm it doesn't knock anymore. It run perfectly fine after that. Motor knock while it is cool and warm. Plus the car misfire sometime. May that be a problem also? So can some plz help me. Thanks alot.

P.S. I drive a 2Gen tsi awd.

Mods= 3 inch Apexi catback, 14B turbo, cone filter

Are you kidding me? You have an hour to fix this post so it looks like you have atleast a 6th grade education.

Oh god.. that is quite a brutal posting. You sure it's not just lifter tick? I have a ticking sound at low rpms as well but it's lifter tick and the 2g's are notorious for having lifter tick.

If it is just lifter tick, I usually just add a bit more oil and it stops ticking. Maybe different.

This should be moved from forced induction to interal tech or somthing. I would think lifter tick is a good guess, also look at you flamitation valve and muffler bearings.

It's a good thing John brought up the flamidation valve. allyoucaneat_talon, rk4g63 spent a good amount of time troubleshooting his flamidation valve awhile back. It may be in your best interest to PM to see if he has any insight as he doesn't seem to post much anymore.

I would think lifter tick too but wouldnt that be more common with start up?

Who built the engine? Do they know what they are doing?

The lifters bleed out after they sit for a little while. It takes a little time for them to 'refill' which may cause a tick.
