Twins
 

Well, things are getting interesting! The Twins win the series against the White Sox and are 1 game back. Now they have 3 games in Baltimore while the White Sox head to Detroit for 4 games. Then the Twins head to the White Sox for a stint.

How do people think this is going to turn out? There could be a huge swing of events for the division depending on how things turn out. I had never gotten back into baseball too much since the last strike, but this is getting really good!

I am thinking the Twins will sweep the Orioles and Detroit and the White Sox will split the series. Then the Twins head to Chicago with a 1/2 game lead.

I have been impressed with the way they are playing lately, they have come back from pretty far down! We'll see what happens, but it seems the Twins always really pick it up after the All-Star break. We'll have to have another DSMStyle Twins game event, just not on a Weds next time!

We already have tickets to the game on Sept 29th, but I know we are up for going to other games. I just will not sit in the cheap seats again. I'd at least pay for home run porch or something better. It's well worth it.

We "should take 2 out of 3 from the O's this week and hopefully can keep the pace of 2 out of 3 from the White Sox in Chi Town to end the week. With the Yankees beating the snot out of the Red Sox these last 4 games it's all for the Twins and White Sox to take. There is definatly no "we can do it if we have help" thing going on, it's all in our control. Hell, the division title is still up for grabs the way Detrot it playing.

I'm friends with the old ball boy ( now a clubby since he's too old to BB) and he is really hoping they make it into the play offs because that means big $$ ;p I don't really like baseball but I really wish a MN team would make it somewhere sometime soon. It's sort of dissapointing that none of our teams have produced in some odd years.

Twins have been Central Division Champs, thats something at least. The Gophers football team has also gone to numerious bowl games lately too.

All the way out here in Cleveland. I hear about the Twins. Seeing how are team sucks. I think we kinda wanting the twins to take it. I see no problem with them winning the games. Maybe losing one or two but wow what a great year for the Twins. They must be excited for there new Statium...

I'm a Twins fan, don't get me wrong. But from here on out, they have a tough schedule. Detroit once, Yanks once, Bo Sox once, White Sox twice. I'm still cheerin for um.

There went my prediction, Silva got rocked last night. Detroit beat the White Sox though, so we didn't lose anything.

As long as they can take 2 out of 3 in most of the series coming up, we are golden. The fucking White Sox having having some issues though. Especially getting beat by a Detroit team that got beat up by KC.

I picked up 4 more good tickets off MNSC yesterday, pick them up tonight. 9 rows up from the twins dugout!

What a fuck'n game tonight!!!! Punto goes yard for the 1st time this year, Hunter hits a 3 run shot, and the bottom of the order comes up with the big run in the end again. HOT DAMN this was a great game to watch on tv! With the Tigers dropping a game to the Indians tonight we have the lead in the wild card run and only 4.5 back from the division title!!!

It's getting fun! We were at the Vikes game last night, when they announced the Twins took the lead, the place went nuts! It was pretty cool.

Even more fun! The twins got a win tonight and Detroit and the sox lost! They are 4 games back now and gaining on 'em! Best part is they have one more game in Florida, then 4 against Detroit! They could potentially be in the division lead when they are done with that stretch. Even taking 3 of 4 would be huge.

I'm so fucking pumped. I have tickets to Sundays game vs the Tigers. 9 rows up from the Twins dugout and Santana is pitching. I have 2 extra tickets right now, but 2 guys at work seem interested and hopefully I get word today if they want to go or not. Santana pitched a hell of a game last night. And Gardy was feel'n the fun enough to get tossed from the game again. lol
