Anyone else with any serious intrest to bowl for fun this fall on a regular basis one night a week? I'd like to join a mixed league with Jana and some other friends.

I've been thinking of getting back in a league. With my work schedule 7pm might be a little early though.

I'm already bowling Thursday nights at Minnehaha Lanes in St. Paul. Don't want to bowl on Tuesday and would really like a day of rest in between bowling days.

It would be fun to join that "Just for Fun" mixed league. But I would want to know at least one or two other people on the league.

I would totally be down, except I am moving up to st cloud for the school year and BP is kind of a hike to go bowling, especially without a car.

We should try and set up a summer league next year. The last time I was in a league, it was 10 bucks a week, you got 3 free games every day, and at the end you got a bowling ball. So I got a $300 bowling ball, and free bowling for something like $180 or so.

Brunswick Zone is so fun!!! But I don't do leagues. I do the drunking a bowlling at night with the balckan lights and the music playeing. FUCKIN MARGARITA MODNAY IN DSA HOUSE!!!!

You still get wasted for league bowling, but you just get wasted on a predeterminded time and day, every week.

Its just drinking to a schedule.

This was just e-mail to me today so I posted it up. Plus it's one of the nicest alleys in the twin cities. Ton of other shit to do there if people want to hang and not bowl. Hell, they have bumper cars there. LOL

It is a really nice place and isn't even a year old. I bowled a summer scatch 2 ball challenge league at a Brunswick Zone in EP with the PBA shot. The PBA shot is much tougher and changed often. Everyone got 2 balls to pick out of 4 and that was all you could use so it was a level playing field. I did ok, but I did much better last year in the league. I am bowling Tuesday and Friday night leagues at Texa Tonka Lanes is SLP this fall.
My brother John bowled the 2 ball challenge at the new BP Zone this summer and said it was pretty tough. He said the lanes wouldn't keep a shot all that well meaning you could throw 2 of the exact same shot, get 1 strike and miss the head pin completely on the next shot. I think it is like that becasue it is so new. A straighter bowler would probably do better there.
