Viking Troubles

Well Greenway is out for the season with an ACL tear. So their #1 draft pick has to wait till next year to be an impact. This morning it's reported that Korin Robinson is sitting in a jail cell down in Mankato due to a DUI last night. Chances are he's going to get suspended by either the NFL itself or by the Vikings for substance abuse and could be gone for e good portion of the season if not gone for good from the Vikes.

It's really going to be interesting to see what their season ends up like.

Oh balls. The only recently bright spots I can think of with the vikings has to be there rookie QB. I was at the game on Monday, and he has amazing potential. I think within the next three years, everyone in the NFL will know his name.

Yeah, I was at the Monday game too. I also thought Jackson was the biggest bright spot, that kid is good! He can run, passes were sharp and on target, and had pretty good poise for his first game.

#59 was friggin' awesome too (Farwell?). He had several big hits and can really move for a line backer. I don't know if we have room for him though if we only keep 3 linebackers. Hopefully he can do special teams or something, which was pretty horrible.

Koren might hurt a bit, but we have some other WR's. Hopefully since it wasn't drug related they won't be too hard on him, but he has been in trouble before.

Overall they looked pretty good, but the secondary still wasn't that good. Hopefully they do a little bumping on the line during the regular season, they were all sitting off 7-10 yards. I hate that!!

I'd be very suprised if Robinson wears a Vikes uniform again. Since this could be his second violation of the substance abuse policy he could be gone for a year.

He ran from the cops. He has like 2 accounts of DUI, a felony charge for fleeing police at 100+ MPH and 3 other misdemenor charges.

Don't count on him playing again unless he somehow gets out of this shit.

He will probably be in jail for a good part of the season LOL. That guy must be a complete fucking tool. DUI or felony charges? HMMM let me think about that...

MPR (mn public radio) is fucking GODLY!

They like to ruin the season before it starts.

Oh...I think the whole Vikings franchise needs to be reworked. Right now I am keeping a close eye on the Browns out here. With some great off season choices and what not. All the Browns need is a Vet QB for Frye to learn from and that team be set. As for the Vikes after last years misshaps...I think the team was doomed from then on. But eh...I hope it will turn around for the best. If you need a good team you have to get rid of the bad eggs.

A guy walks into a bar with a dachshund under his arm. The dog is wearing a Minnesota Vikings jersey and helmet.
The bartender says, "Hey! No pets are allowed! You'll have to leave." The guy begs him, "Look, I'm desperate! We're both big fans, the TV's broken at home, and this is the only place around where we can see the game."
After securing a promise that the dog will behave, and warning him that he and the dog will be thrown out if there's any trouble, the bartender relents and allows them to stay in the bar and watch the game.
The big game begins with the Vikings receiving the kickoff. They march down field, get stopped at the 30, and kick a field goal.
Suddenly, the dog jumps up on the bar and begins walking up and down the bar giving high-fives to everyone.
The bartender says, "Wow, that's the most amazing thing I've ever seen! What does the dog do if they score a touchdown?" The owner replies, "I don't know, I've only had him for three years."
