This week finally!
 

Well After posting on a local 2g site (www.team-2g.com) i traded my 16g setup including: turbo, j pipe, LICP, Exhaust Mani, Intake and anything else that goes with the setup for a single Dejon Tool intake pipe for my 50 trim setup.
The intake is scheduled to come in on thursday and the night it comes in will be the night the following goes on:
PTE 50 Trim Turbo
Tial Wastegate
Ported Exhaust Mani
FMIC
2.5" FMIC piping
Dejon Tool Intake pipe.

I cant wait to do this swap. I gave the guy a hell of a deal for an even trade for the 16g setup for the intake pipe. But if i didnt get rid of the turbo then it would have just sat around doing nothing.
Ill keep you all posted on the progress.

for an intake pipe!??

hmm..

i fabricated my own using just one 180degree mend and made a dummp tube for it with a 1/2'" tube. only costed me like 40 bucks, of course i welded everything myself. Looks like it costed a few hundred bucks too!

I don't understand how a single turbo plus accessories is worth getting an intake pipe in trade, but... Good job? :confused:

Mainly because i didnt want to deal with selling the setup and then shipping it and shit like that. It was worth it for me because then i was able to get the final piece to my 50 trim setup and get it on without having to put more money into it. Now that money that i was gonna spend on my intake can go towards tuning and dyno time.

The money you saved? What about the money you could have made? You traded a few hundered bucks worth of stuff, for an intake you could have made yourself for like 25 bucks. But if you're happy with it, then congrats, good luck with the install.

If I would have had the money I would have bought that Intake! Damn that was such a good deal!

You could have made alot of money selling all that stuff seperately or throwing it on ebay. Shipping stuff isnt a big deal, and if you were to throw it on ebay they have to pay for shipping ;)

If you would have psoted on here, I would have gladly traded you my Dejon tool intake pipe for it, paid for overnight shipping on teh intake pipe and waited until you came to get the turbo setup.

i think a Tom award shoudl be created, and given annually.

do I need to advise on the criteria or is that a given?
