weird light issue
 

I am having an odd lighting issue with my 92 awd talon

lights that DON'T work:
-rear running lights
-gauge lights (speedometer, tach, oil, water, fuel) BUT the colored lights work below like the seat belt, CEL, cruise, etc.
-door lights

All the other lights work as far as i know. Interior, brake, brights, signals, reverse.

WTF is going on here? I've looked over all the fuses in the fuse box located by the drivers left foot.

Did you put a radio in the car. Mine had a bad wire on the deck. I fixed it and all was good.

no, i didnt put a radio in the car. But what happened was there was a blown fuse under the hood in the black box on the right side of the engine bay. I replaced that. But when in go to check what lights were working the rear running lights were working again but my gauge lights didnt. Now you must keep in mind that i havent been driving a TEL for at least 2 years now, But my friend must have turned the gauge light knob all the way down when he was looking at my car the other night. lol, It could happen to anyone, really, it only took me a couple of minutes to find out.
