Two steps closer, one step back

I was all excited when the UPS truck showed up today and this package arrived.

All is fine and well, right? As it says on the packing slip from RRE I checked out the contents. Here is what I saw when I looked at the two boxes.

Can anyone see anything wrong?

He got those cams in a box of "junk", I got these straight from RRE. I emailed them immediately after noticing the mistake, which was within minutes of opening the box and a half hour of the package arriving at my door. Then Jacquie called me within 10 minutes of me emailing them and appologized. They were going to send me an intake came today along with a return shipping label for the other cam, but found out they had already sent out all of the cams. So now they're trying to figure out who out there got two intake cams... Story of my life.

I sure hope RRE packed them better than that?

Good way to get a broken cam shaft.

That's the exact opposite of how everything I have received from RRE has ever been packed. Usually there is so damn much packing material that it takes 5 minutes just to get to the goodies.

I could have got you some a week or so ago, might still be able to. I offered a set to grubby, but he didn't bite.

Damn Matt, you can't catch a break. If I were you, I'd say to hell with DSM's. :D

Sorry to hear/see that dude. But just think about when you are putting up a .wav of the car's idle. It will be good.

Along with a .jpg of my middle finger for the naysayers who said it would never run. It will be very good.

A buddy of mine from the east coast just got his. Didn't sound like he had any problems with shipment. I was hoping to get a set, but grass, a deck and a hot tub took first priority over the finances. :-)

Considering people run 272s on stock springs with no problems, I doubt you need double springs for the 280s. I have Crowers in my head so we'll see how that works. :)
