Different tail light blubs for different years?
 

So I finally got ahold of some stock tail lights, they were off a 95 and mine is a 98. I sawp them in and I only have 2 bulbs on each side. My friend who has a 95 has 3. Now what i'm thinking is that the person before cut out one on each side because the "Rice lights" I had before only have 2 holes for bulbs? I dunno just wondering.
