F this i hate getting ripped off!
 

So i won some stock taillights on ebay on like march 12 and i have yet to get them. I filed with paypal and ebay about sent the guy e-mails and he hasn't sent any back. So i'm thinking I lost buy $25 for those tail lights. Now I'm starting to think i got ripped off from a guy on DSM Tuners. I mean i bought somthing on there thinking you have to be on there so long and have a rep for it and what not. I paid for some Injectors on march 23rd and still have got anything. I sent him a PM asking if it has been sent or what not. He hasn't responed yet. The only reason why I think I'm getting ripped off is because the guy has 0 posts and is a proven member. Now i have like 40 on there and 2 rep points and i'm still a noob on there. This is the guy so if you know him or somthing let me know! http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/member.php?u=45502
This sucks I have never done this to anyone why does this bullshit have to happen to me.. But maybe I'm over reacting but I paid $200 for those injectors. Hopefully I'm just over reacting and everything well get here tomorrow. Yea right

I don't trust anyone on dsmtuners. It is like buying things off the old dsmtrader when it was up and running. That is a steal on teh 2g tranny and t-case though.

The classifieds on Tuners are a joke. They tried to make them more trustworthy when implementing the Proven member system but I do not believe it has made any difference. Have you PM'd a Tuners moderator or Ludacris about your issues?

Minus the SBR branded products, between Elite, DB, & LSE, you should be able to get anything that you would get from SBR.

Buying local is the way to go. Thing is the money you spend extra is usually just taxes and a very small mark up since shops don't make much on parts these days unless the retail price can be held close to MSRP due to demand, like the HKS cams at times. Plus you can deal with people face to face and you support local shops.

This is another reason why we have the system we do on the classifieds and why we are always looking for ways to protect the buyer and seller as best we can.

I bought a few used things off the trader before(nothing big $$$). I've sold more than I bought. I did that before things really started to get bad in the area of trust. You're better off to just buy new from a local place. All it takes is one very bad transaction to make every penny you saved by buying used, seem worthless. Half the time you gotta worry about just plain buying someone elses junk. People pawn off all sorts of crap.

Well i finnally got a PM back from this clown and this is what he said.

"im sorry pal! i had to make a new paypal account since i moved and had an address change they were giving me trouble about the old account lol... my new account address is kenny03g@hotmail.com ... once i recieve the money ill be shipping the 660's the very next day pal... lemme know!"

This is suck bullshit. I mean I sent him the money on the 23 and now he wants me to send it again. Fuck that. I Still have both of my E-mails for a repicet and saying that the payment was accepted.

Contact Paypal and get your money back on the first payment. If you used a credit card to make the Paypal payment contact your CC company too.

If you do get your money back from the first transaction I wouldn't even think about sending him the money again. I had a change of address and email and Paypal doesn't give you any trouble at all....its a 3 minute process online.

Good luck with your situation man. I agree with the above fellows. Local is the only way to go. Call me old fashioned but i like to see the product and the guy selling it with my own eyes. People are less likely to rip you off in person, but I'm sure that happens too. Like I said, good luck.

So the kid got back to me today after i told him i sent the money before and said he F'd up because he thought it was someone else that paid for some 550's so he mailed his 550's thinking they had been paid for. So i guess he is sending me mine this week, and someother guy got a free set of 550's..Hopefully it is one down and one more to take care of. Now all I need is for my taillights to be sent to me from this other guy.

Yep so like i said the guy would be sending those injetors out that week, Yea that never happend..I started to rant in tuners and 4 other people sent me PM's about how he pulled the same shit with them. Then I was trying to tell a mod this guy needs to be banned or at least get rid of his classified ad. No they haven't done anything yet..And tuners is down yet again.. So I'm out $200 and have no extra money for new ones. I just about ready to sell my other shit and just forget about upgrading my turbo..This has just been a pain in the ass. I filed everything with paypal but all they seem to do it send them e-mails. Guess i won't be getting my money back either. Oh well thats life. Hopefully karma will get that ass hole who is ripping everyone off.
