last 2 weeks at dunwoody custom painting project
 

I painted my extra 91 talon hood last year and did all the body work on it then also. It was painted the stock white of the talon. This is the last 2 weeks of dunwoody now we are in custom painting and redid the same hood this year.
I will take more pics of it next week when it is all done.
as of now has been
resealed
base coat 1. is black
base coat 2. is cool blue
base coat 3. is night blue with some black in it
base coat 4. is grey
base coat 5. is dbc500 (bace coat with out pigment)
also going to get a big greddy hood tach sticker I had around (white)
then a lot of clear to make all the layers flat
thanks to kevin for helping tape it up and the parts in the back ground are off his gsxr he painted also

no just the hood is that way it was a extra hood that I had for my 91 talon that I sold to kevin

got it all done
sanded it monday (the dbc 500 clear base)
put on the greddy sticker
put 4 coats of clear coat
today
sanded the clear coat to make it all flat and level
put 3 more clear coats on it
dry sanded it with 1200grit and buffed the hell out of it

I took my hood off and left it at school so I could bring it home before it got damaged from the night class

I like it! just to be different, you could have tried to shadow the spots, to give it more of a 3d effect. None-the-less, it's awesome..I didn't think i'd like it, but it's caught my eye. What car or shelf is it going on?
