Fuel economy of Ford vehicles

Somehow I managed to wind up on this Greenpeace-tree hugger-save the world website:
http://www.theactionblog.com/?gad=CO...DM28gQ&paged=2

Anyways, if you click on the Click here to take action link it takes you to a page where this comment is made:
Quote:

Ford Motor Company's vehicles guzzle more gas than any other automaker in the country. Ford's global warming emissions threaten our environment while rising gas prices threaten our economy. That's not American innovation. That's just bad business.
I've Google'd a little bit but can't seem to find any information to back that comment up about Ford's fuel economy. Have any of you seen the same or a similar comment anywhere about Ford vehicles?

I do hate Fords, but you need to take into account the fact that Ford sells more large trucks than any other company so that really kills their MPG average.

I'm not a big fan of Ford, but i still drive one. I must say, my v6 which i figured would be nice on the gas. Just isn't... nothing like getting 13-16 mpg no matter HOW nice you drive it. But that's what you get for having a 3 ton piece of metal with as much HP as a stock 4g63.

Summer has officially started and I dont remember posting on here last night. And my head still hurts:( But it was fun:D

Anyway, like said before, being that Ford is one of the top sellers as far as Trucks go that greatly decreases their mpg average. Also, think about all of the vehicles they have that arent 4 cyl econo cars. The Tauras doesnt do the best for milage as well as the Escapes, Mustangs, Explorer etc..

Does anyone know if all of the Ford companies are included in this like Mazda, Jag etc.. or is it just Ford/Lincoln/Merc?

Ford needs to figure out a way to push they PZEV engines. They're in the Saleen Focus and that car is pretty quick and everything and gets pretty good milage.
