Stolen: 1991 Galant VR-4

I can't believe this has happened again. Between Saturday afternoon and today, somebody stole my VR-4 from my lot. Since I've never advertised this anywhere but here, something tells me this isn't random. It's gray with black leather, all stock and it's number 1555 out of 2000. The police are on their way over now. If anybody sees or hears anything, please let me know.

If somebody wants to step up and return it in it's same condition, I won't press charges.

Thanks,

Steve

Oh shit dude, that sucks. i hope you get it back in good condition. best of luck man.

DSMStyle Mafia needs to regroup again. stealing within the community is not cool and should be punished.

Wow, that is low! Sadly, it wouldn't surprise me though since so many people have been going in and out of this board lately. I suppose this is just the next step up from so many "respected" DSMers just skipping town with other peoples' money and parts :( Sorry to hear this though :( Might be time to invest in some security cameras for your lot.

Wow, I cant believe this happened again. I agree with everyone else who said you need to invest in some cameras.

Something seems a little fishy, you wouldnt really know where your lot is unless someone told you or they knew from an advertisement or something. It isnt like it is out in the open with a store front on a busy road.

BTW, did anything more come from the stolen civic? I would be willing to bet that they might be related. Also, you did have the GVR4 before the civic was stolen, right?

That's is really, really sad to hear Steve. I could put you in contact with my old company that handles security such as this. Not sure if they would be in the price range though. It may be cheaper going with a vendor such as ADT.

That sucks dude, i will keep an eye out especailly when i'm down town. My car has an immobilizing alarm, it came with it so i know my car isnt going any where. Its sweet, the sensor is under the hood and you can hit the trunk with a fist and it sets off the alarm.

I really hate people. I had my laptop stolen this weekend.

I know its not the same but at least you have insurance for it? I will also be on the look out for it. number 1555? consider it stolen back if I ever see it.

Sorry for the loss man!

Wow, this really sucks! But I have to agree with Steve's thinking. With the other cars on the lot this target had to be specific. The sad thing is this happens every week on MNSC it seems as well. There have to be people out there who see these baord as such a tool, and I think they should be shot on site. I'll provide the ammo.

Steve you could also look into those motion cameras. That only turn on or capture photos when something in detected in front of it.

Been doing the same for years now, the system take color pics during motion and emails them out to an gmail account so even if the servalence box gets stolen you still have their mugshot sitting in your inbox.

Between that my two 90 lb Dobbies and some close range "toys", you'd sure be one hurting unit "playing with chucky" on this end.
