I've been looking around trying to find a complete "ready to go" oil cooler kit. Doesn't look like they exist. Going with seperate parts from different companies is also an option. What have you seen or used and how did it work?

Build one using a Setrab oil cooler, Mitsu EVO oil filter housing and some AN fittings/adapters.

I used a trans cooler from checker and make it work with the 90 filter mount and some lines.

Re: External Air To Oil Cooler
Anybody know the part number for the Evo oil filter housing or alternatively the year/model of evo? I'm going to be putting in an external oil cooler on my 7-bolt.

Re: External Air To Oil Cooler
my car came with one.
which mitsu models had coolers and which didn't? |
Re: External Air To Oil Cooler
1990 is the only year the 4g63t motors came with external oil coolers. After that, 91-99 they were cooled by water/antifreeze.
