Couple Questions about Limited Slip Diffs...

Hey Guys,
Being that I now have a FWD burnout monster, what are some limited slip options are recommended as far as brands, and models?
I remember somewhere along the line someone saying that GSX's have limited slip stock, if this is true can i take the Limited slip diff off the front of my GSX and put it on the GST?
Is the install pretty complex or easily done in an afternoon of wrenching?
Thanks for the help,
Tom

sure, a lot of GSX's have limited slips. IN THE REAR DIFF! not the front. :)

I noticed I read something on Sheps website about a TRUE LSD and it cost quite a bit as well. I'm assuming one does the same job, but in a more 'ghetto' fashion. I'd also think that the "true" LSD has better performance and longevity. I'm sure you could google Limited slip differentials and get some pretty interesting results.

The Phantom Grip style "LSD's" are by no means a true LSD, but do work decently. I had BM's version in my race-built FWD tranny and the launching and handling was noticably better. I have heard they cause premature wear but I have no personal experience with failure.
