Dyno Time!

So I'm going to the dyno day at LSE, I have never done this before so just wanting to get some input such as is there anything i need to do before hand or something. My 98 gs-t has some mods in it: 3 in turbo back exhaust (No cat), Injen intake, UICP with a 1g bov. Hopefully before the dyno day I will have a MBC and my boost gauge in. So like i said just wondering if i need to do anything before i dyno it. So anytips for a first timer dyno'r! Thanks Guys!

If you get the MBC in make sure everything is set up right. Other than that, just make sure the car is in solid shape. If you don't trust it on the road I wouldn't toss it up on a dyno. That's for your safety and those running your car on the dyno.

If you have any problems getting the BG and MBC in before hand and have all the parts for it your bound to run into a few people who could help out with that the day of the event. With some guys, it's something they havn't done in a few years ;)

Just don't get your hopes up for a high number. Most people think they are making a lot more power than they really are.

I would try and get the boost gauge in and the MBC in and set befor the dyno day. Also the chassis dyno is a tool, I would choose one dyno facility make a base run there then go back to the same facility everytime you make a change and want to see the difference. The end all number is not as important, high or low, as the power curve or how much you picked up from mod to mod.
