Headlight Plugs
 

Hey Nick this is Brandon. I'm the one who you've met a few times up there. I need 2 headlight plugs for a 2001 Galant ES. Mine are melted. Is this common on these cars? I think the silverstar bulbs must run a little hotter then the standard ones or something, because they are melted. So if ya could let me know how much they are, and if they are in stock. Thanks!

Alrighty well I just decided to go in today and check for myself. They did have some. Sounds like this is a common problem with these cars. They almost didn't give me the DSM discount because it wasn't a DSM part. Seems different there nowadays.

I actually had to use your name Chris. I was like WHAT??? And I told them how you gave me the discount when my window motor died on the Galant. And he just kinda looked at me and was like well OK then.

when you first get here let us know youre dsm. We have no way of knowing. we are trying to keep up with with everything. I was sick early in the week that is why no response till now

I walked in, told him exactly what I needed, and that I was part of the DSM Club, and he said that since this wasn't a DSM part, the discount didn't apply. So then all I did was mention that Chris had always given it to me on parts for my galant. And he said something like "Chris isn't here anymore, but mmmm ok". Then after that he was nice, but I was still suprised. I know if it was you then I would've gotten it just fine, because you'd have recognized me.

by what i was told someone was trying to get dsm discount and they were not a member so Mark was watching what was going on. Mark the manager was the one who helped you I dont know why it would matter if its a dsm part or not.

Well tell Mark, the guy that bought the headlight plugs for an 01 galant, is a DSM member, has boughten 100 times as many dsm parts as he has Galant parts, still owns a DSM, and has a crush on Asians.
