Anybody know about this?
 

A 94 gsx motor is a a 6bolt or a 7bolt? I am being told that it is a 7bolt but takes 6bolt rods and pistions..... Is this true? Is a good block like the 1g motors? Let me know what you guys think.. Thanks Jeremiah:confused:

No it doesnt take 6 bolt rods. The pistons are the same since the compression ratio is the same though. All you would have to do is mechine to fit the rods.

1G and 2G 7-bolt engines do not use the same pistons. all 1G = 7.8:1 compression and all 2G = 8.5:1 compression.

*edit* Nevermind, I got a bit mixed up and realized this is not whats being asked.

i am looking for some je pistons and a 6bolt block, but this guy was telling me a whole bunch a crap and i thought he was wrong and i was right so thanks you guys for helping. BUT IF ANYONE HAS A BLOCK WITH CRANK NO PISTIONS OR RODS LET ME KNOW THANKS.
