Rim Size

I have a 95 gsx, and i'm wondering if this set of rims would fit my car.

http://www.wheelmax.com/product.asp?ProdId=2134

Its size is 17x7.5 and offset is 35.
I have never ordered online before, so i'm unsure if i can ask to have them change the sets and stuff, but would that size and offset be fine and not rub?

VFaq doesn't have 17x7.5.

Re: Rim Size

Should fit very nice. What size tire are you going to go with? 225/45/17?

Nice looking rim too, btw.

Re: Rim Size

anyone know of any rubbing issues with the wheel at full lock on a 35offset? Just making sure, I have no clue.

Re: Rim Size

I just picked up some 17" Volks for my 1G, they are a 40mm offset, fit perfectly on my car. The 2G's have a little more play space available for wider wheels or offsets. I think they may stick out a hair though. I don't remember and am too lazy to double check.

Re: Rim Size

oo, i see.

Thanks for the input guys, replying kinda late, but thanks again.

So 17x7.5 would work with a +35 offset.
I was just curious due to vfaq saying that a 17x8 with a 35 offset would rub rear fender and with lowering springs. Thats just a .5 difference, so thats why i was just wondering. I do plan to get a new suspension coming soon too thats why i am just a bit afraid of that rubbing.

So if you guys see a stock looking red 2g in the summer with them wheels, thats me.

Also, curious, what would look better for the red 2g - Gunmetal, Silver, or Bronze?

Re: Rim Size

Also TKRperformance, how did those wheels work for you?

I don't want to end up driving my winter tires all season

+1 for bronze but any of those colors would work.

Re: Rim Size

Where did you get your 18*8 from?
Did you buy from wheelmax? I'm trying to find price comparisons at the moment, but its hard to find other sources.

Tim, as for wheel size, i am really unsure. According to wheelmax, the recommended size is 215/45/17 for the 17". I might get the hyper dark instead of the silver as there's only like 2 options for that set of wheels.
If anyone can give me a good recommendation, that'd be great. I am dumb when it comes to the wheels.

Re: Rim Size

I would go no less than 225/45/17. I know someone with 225/45/17 on their 2g at stock ride hight and he has HUGE wheel gap. 215/45/17 are even smaller yet. If your wheels were 8in wide you could probably go with 235 but a 7.5 in wheel is a little narrow for that.

Re: Rim Size

What would you go with for 18x7.5 rims?

Also, as for tires.

What would you pick?
I'm thinking the Kumho Ecsta 712. But i have no idea really.
