What should I offer?
Found a 1g Eclipse at a carlot today. I went in and asked about it and he asked what I would offer. I am not really sure on what to offer so I told him I'll think about it and come back.
This is where I come to you guys. What would you offer for it. 1g Eclipse (92.5+?)non pop up headlights) N/A 1.8L A/T - (Dont work) He said it could be as easy as linkage for all he knew. No Radio Got some LRP vinyl on it with a sprayed interior trim. Miles - I forgot to look Body is pretty nice. Solid, not alot of noticable cancer. I mainly want this car for the interior and other misc. parts. What would you guys offer? Im sure its a lemon but I need some shit off of it. |
Re: What should I offer?
nothing, its a N/A and also a A/T those are four letters that dont equal fast dsm.

Re: What should I offer?
'92-'94 1Gs do not have the pop-up headlights. The ~'92.5-'94 range is for the 1Gs with 7 bolt blocks.
As for what it's worth, $50, because of the interior and good condition body. |

If you really want it I wouldn't offer anymore than about $100 or $200 for it.

Re: What should I offer?
If ur planning to use it as a parts car, let me know :). That snowstorm ripped a part off my car, hah hah. But on topic, I wouldnt buy a NA Auto. Might get good gas mileage, but that's about it. And the A/T tranny doesnt work and it might be more than just the linkages. You dont wanna end up spending more on the car than its worth just to get it running again.

Re: What should I offer?
Stay away. Stay away. If you need interior parts than shop around for people parting cars out. If you need a car stay away. If it was just a linkage the guy could of fixed it with not problem and turn around and sell it for 1k. It is more than just a linkage. Plus it is 1.8 N/A which most or all things in the motor compartment are not interchangeable.
