Radio Memory Resets
 

Got a factory radio and cd player in the Talon, and the memory keeps erasing everytime I turn the car off. Is there a fuse back there that is blown or do I need a new radio. Has this happened to anyone else? :confused:

Sounds like your constant power wire is not working. Pull the radio out and check it with a meter to see if you have constant power. Sorry I don't know the color of the wire off the top my head but you should have only 2 12v wire. One will come on and off with your ignition and the other one is always on. If you are are not getting any power go and check your fuses (fuse panel). Is your dome light and horn working properly?

well my horn or dome lights haven't ever worked. Car came that way 3 yrs ago... damn DSM

Check your horn relay and fuse.
