Thats too bad. Whenever I think of him I am reminded of his catch in Game 6 of the '91 World Series. Pretty amazing being there for that.

:( That is horrible news. He hasn't had the best life these last few years either. Broken marraige, gained some weight, and just didn't seem like much was going for him in his personal life. I would have to say he is probably one of my favortie players of all time and did great things for the game. He will be missed!

Who is Kirby Puckett? Is he the the round bubble guy from gameboy? Just joking it is sad to hear about what had happened to him. He was a great guy.

Does anyone know of any videos floating around on the net of Kirby? I think I'll head home early tonight as I imagine that there will be some video(s) on the 10 o'clock news.

I suggest everyone check out ESPN. They've put together a great tribute to Kirby. I've watched it twice tonight.

Tis a sad day, A great person.. 45 years old and to die so soon is horrible. He did a lot of fund raising and brought in a lot of money to help out people. He will be greatly missed!
