I have some raw footage I need to break down into smaller clips. Does anyone know a good program (simple) that will let me set a start and stop. I was looking at the ones at downloads.com. Are any of these going to work?

The files are currently on a DVDR disk and come up as 'movie clip' in properties and plays with windows media player if that helps.
