95 ECU location
 

So I'm looking in my Helms manual (which isn't as helpful as I thought), and it's telling me that my ECU is located behind my fuse box inside the car. I have a 95 GSX, and I know that the ECU is not what they're telling me. The box that they believe is the ECU is about the size of a sidekick. I pulled the kick panel on the drivers side (to the center console/radio), and I can see what appears to be, what I believe, my ECU. Can anyone confirm this?

it is a gold box with 4 connectors on the drivers side.

You'd think that Helms would get it right out of 3 huge books. Wonder what that little box is behind the fuses then..........Do you guys recommend that I get a Chilton's book now?

I have never heard of a Helms manual. I have only heard of the Haynes and Chiltons one.
