Back in MN, about time I say hello
 

I've been a long time occasional lurker, but I've been out of MN since I bought my Talon. I moved back last month and figured I better spend a little more time on this forum.

I'm currently in Cannon Falls, but grew up in St. Paul and will be moving back within the next couple months.

My car is a 91 Talon AWD which is essentially stock at this point. I got screwed in a bogus PPI deal which has set me back some. I have big plans for this spring and summer including: new rings (poor compression) as soon as it warms up enough to ride my motorcycle, BS elimination, FMIC w/hard pipes, 3" exhaust (custom), exhaust side port work, Walbro 190lph, FCD, etc.... (can't forget fresh paint, for which I'll probably consult you guys, thinking of sticking with my Black Cherry)

I've had cars that are nicer in some ways, but I really have fallen in love with this car and despite it's list of problems I want to stick with it. I think with some work over the long term it can be the perfect daily driver/weekend warrior :)

We can add to this list a new clutch. It looks like I'm going to be doing the clutch and rebuilding the engine in a couple weeks. Brace yourselves for the inevitable questions I will have, lol.

Welcome. I wish I could start all over again from stock. I'd do everything the right way. Sounds like you'll be having some fun this summer.
