Need someone to make an 02 housing
 

I need a 3" 02 housing made for my new turbo. I have had people interested in doing it, but nobody has time or will set a date to get teh car and make it. I want to get it done asao.

The only parts I have are the 3" 4 bolt flange and gasket. I am guessing it would need to be made by a 90 coming down and maybe another small bend before hitting the downpipe. The downpipe is a thermal 2.5-3", but the thermal one only has about 3 inches or so of 2.5" pipe at the start. The bends on it are 3" along with the flex section. Parts needed would be a 2.5" turbo elbow, 3" 90 degree stainless bend, a little 3" stainless straight pipe, maybe a 45 (or not), a stainless 02 bung and 2 exhaust flanges for the downpipe and 02 housing. If you think you would be able to do the job, either pm me or post here when you would be able to do it and how much it would cost. I don't care how ugly the 02 housing looks as long as it functions well. It would be going on a 2g if that matters.

If your downpipe starts @ 2.5" you'll need a 2.5" 02 housing. Its very difficult to make a 3" 02 housing fit the stock location thats way nobody really does it.

We make 2.5" SS 02 housings for internal and external setups. We should have some more ready w/in a weel or so if your interested.

The turbo is 3" off the exhaust housing so I need to have a 3" one made. I cant use a 2.5 inch one unless I getstart at 3", and go to 2.5 inches before the downpipe which will bring it back to 3" again. Shane has a 3" 02 housing but he had to do extra work to get it to work.

Couldn't you just get a 3" O2 Elim downpipe? Then sell the thermal downpipe, and your set. Just an idea.

I need to get one with a 3" 4 bolt flange though. Who sells the downpipes?

I had a full Garrett setup on my old GST, Garrett 4 bolt exhaust side. I had an RnR 3" O2 Elim downpipe that mated up to my 4bolt exhaust side. I am not an RnR customer at all anymore, so I'm not trying to tell you to go to them, but if he can do it, then I'm sure other's can. You could try and call him, but he never answers the phone, and he is always slow at shipping. Otherwise, I'm sure you could call other vendors who offer full garrett kits, and they possibly sell downpipes for their kits. Maybe AGP?

Do you know what the RnR website it. I cant think of what RnR stands for.

www.RnRracing.com I see that they do have a T3/T4 downpipe listed on their site, but it doesn't mention anything about being O2 Elim. I'd go to the site, and just contact them. Because he can more then likely make just about anything, all you have to do is write and ask.

BTW, RnR stands for Ryan n (insert fathers name here that starts with an "R"). It was just him and his dad for the longest time running the whole shop. Used to be a great guy. I knew him right before he actually opened up a shop. He used to just build this stuff on the side for the local socal community. But then he opened up a shop, got larger, and had a whole 2 people working there so they got real behind, and have never seem to catch up. Good luck with them, you really have to be patient with him.

No problem, hopefully it works out. All I can say is be patient. If you're not prepared to be patient, then you're 90% sure to get pretty aggrivated!

Example, I ordered my turbo and O2 from him when I was in Japan. Told him that I was going to be home in like 6 months and that I wanted it there when I got home. Let's say he cut it to the wire, it was all at my home without only days to spare!

He said on tuners he got more workers to help the process, but I am not sure how much better it is now.

I talked to shearer and he cold do it but it would cost an arm and a leg to do without the car there so he recommended Rau becuase I guess he will be opening a shop up again in a few weeks. I will PM you.
