2005 Tax Returns: What will you get?

I'm hoping to get back around $1400, which is funding my FMIC. It will also contribute towards either brakes or rent... whichever I decide is more important. What about you guys?

Hopefully less than $100...that will mean I played my strategy right so I got most of my money in my paychecks. I am not a huge fan of giving the government interest-free loans.

No clue. I sold some stock this year, so hopefully that doesn't mess things up too much. Otherwise I normally receive about $800 between Fed & State.

I claim anything between 0-10 depending on the time and rough calculations that I do.

You will have to pay tax on those stocks you sold so figure roughly that will eat up about 1/3 of your profit on them.

I'm not expecting very much...couple hundred at most, and all of it has to go to school tuition. Boy I fucking LOVE school! :(

Man, how nice it would be to get $6000. My DSM could be be worry-free for two years!

How nice would it be to claim taxes effectively so most of that money is included in the paychecks rather than giving the government an interest-free loan?

I agree with you, Hughes. I just must not be claiming as efficient as I could. I do look forward to this time with returns though.. it's kind of nice to bounce back from Christmas.
