ceramic coat
 

I have a few parts that I had ceramic coated...at least I thougt I did...this local guy took my parts and money, did the work, and when I got the parts back...they looked great. Now...I rubbed some brake parts cleaner on my exhaust maninfold and the coating rubbed right off...I am not positive but....would a ceramic coat do that??

I wouldn't think so, but I'm not that familiar with ceramic coatings.My guess it was some kind of paint.
