ok im posting this up for my friend, cuz i really don't know what's wrong with his car. He has a 92 laser awd. it had a slipping clutch and so we dropped a 2600 in there. well now his clutch is still slipping, u can smell it. I have no clue whats wrong. One thing we did notice is that u can wiggle the shift fork a lil bit with your fingers, and u can push in the piston on the slave cylinder with your fingers, far enough back that it'll slip right outta the shift fork. I don't know if that's normal or not, and i dunno if that could even have anything to do with that. But if anyone has any ideas, please let me know. thanx

ok well i just conjured up an idea that i totally didn't think about. He got the flywheel resurfaced at Napa. They've always done a good job on ours, but i bet Nick didn't check the step after they did it. And i'm guessin a slightly out of tolerance step could cause something like this. i dunno, i think we're gunna rip the tranny out again sumday, suxcks
