nope authentic 16a bigger a/r then 16g
bigger compressor

and it is authentic mitsubishi
the sticker on the box is mitsubishi and mitsubishi is printed on the turbo

With this mystery turbo and that "BB 20g with Garrett chra" it makes me think jhaan dude has been selling garage special turbos again.

Looks like it says 14A, not 16A. Please post a clear picture of the serial plate

I did some research on this and it looks like the part number: 49179-00400 does in fact match a TD06 "14A"

It appears to be used on Diesel excavators, fork lifts, and other garden implements.

Here's one I found for sale
