97' gsx - round 2

4 Attachment(s)
Now that I live so close to work I really have no need for my car and would like the extra money. Got a 1997 mitsubishi eclipse gsx. Has roughly 157k miles. Here is a list of mods.

14b turbo with a 16g exhaust housing
intake
walbro 255 fuel pump
3" apexi dunk exhaust
eBay big fmic kit with 1g bov
motegi racing 17" rims with falken tires
halo projector headlights
Sony deck and front speakers

what it needs-

driver side wheel barring
passanger side tie rod
clutch master cylinder
wastegate actuator

it runs and drives great. Just those few things and u will have a great awd Dsm. I'm asking $4,000 extreamly firm. I am located in Rochester so if u would like to see it feel free to pm me or call or text Brandon at 507-254-4568

Re: 97' gsx - round 2

seen this car in rochester it had a huge boost leak or fuel cut

poofy97gsx 11-25-2009 04:37 PM

Re: 97' gsx - round 2

Yup fuel cut. Perhaps that's y it needs a wastegate actuator

Bump. $3500 if sold this week. Sick of moving it off and on the street especially with snow removle coming up

Sounds good, I just lowered my price $1k and I had a decent amount of interest before so hopefully this week!

Bump. Keeping the price at 3500 for another week. This street parking/snow removle is killing me.

Re: 97' gsx - round 2

Not to thread jack, but why not just toss a wastegate actuator on there? I think when smaller stuff needs to be done, that people think twice, since it's easy to do, they think "what else is wrong, if a small thing isn't done?"
Just my opinion.

Re: 97' gsx - round 2

someone buy it, its a really clean looking car. i've seen it down on brodway here. its really clean looking and would be amazing once the small stuff is fixed.

poofy i'd make an offer cause i'd love a gsx over a gst anyday, but i don't have the money and my car isn't really going to be gone for a while yet.

Re: 97' gsx - round 2

It would be great to see this car go to a responsible owner. Brandon did some cheap mods, but he learned to do things right and is completely honest about the car. The chassis appeared to be in pretty good shape the last time I saw it considering how many miles are on it.

Re: 97' gsx - round 2

ill vouch for the car and owner but id rather see the car stay in his hands

mitsukid124 12-25-2009 07:04 PM

Re: 97' gsx - round 2

^ agreed^

and after i looked into it the stuff that needs to be done are pretty easy cheap things, even for me and i don't know much about the mechanics of it all.
