Give it a few more years then you can have them imported legal to the US. The r32 is now legal here. Under the 25 year rule.

They can't be worth that anymore, that's just when that Cali company was getting them imported. Hell, even $19k seems rich, I'd rather have a sexy Esprit again for that price. :)

Import 1989 cars are trying to stabilize in the market...no one knows what to pay for them...no one know what to ask for them...but not as many people as one might imagine are jumping all over them, either.

I saw a guy selling a r34 gtr for 40k in Florida a while back. Bit that could be because the gov xhanged its policy on how they got them street legal and told them they had to export the car back out of country ir take itnoff the streets

Everybody says that the price goes down when they become legal to import. I'd be pleased if someone clued me in on how that happens! Basic economics theory is that with a fixed number available and more interested buyers the price should go UP...

Supply goes way up. Yes there is a fixed number that was produced, but when you can legally import them, the number here will increase drastically.
