Embeded youtube videos now in HD by default
 

In case you didn't know, if you want to post a video on this site, you can simply take the url:

And cut off everything after the ?v= ....but before all the other garbage that can get associated with them like when you hit it so you just need the urjfUEosJV0. We'll call this the video ID

Take that video ID and wrap it in a youtube tag. These work exactly the same way as an img tag works, like so:

And, the original point of this post....youtube videos will now default to 720p resolution when using this technique! Yay!

Also, I have increased the size from 540x320 to 690x420 so they will appear a bit larger for your viewing pleasure :)

Sweet, now I can manually change it down to 360 every time I want to watch an embedded video. ;)
