stupid question: In my datsun, the "Park Safety Switch" got stuck closed. I honestly don't know about the DSM's. Electrical can be a bitch. Good Price for a parts car even.

id take the center console out and replace the switch, shouldnt be too hard.... Lil update on the car...today i tried spinning the crank by hand and it seems like its stuck, wont spin, it could possibly be the balance shaft bearing that went out, or maybe the oil pump froze, could b an easy fix or not, car is solid for parts definetly or fix...

Did it make any mechanical noises before it quit? You put a breaker bar on the crank pulley and it wouldn't turn?

Yes i heard a lil knock around 3k rpm, i used a 1/2 ratchet to try to spin it.

Did you look more into it? Like pull the pan? See of a rod went? More people might be interested if they new what was need to get it running again.

no havent looked into it yet my garage is taken with my other talon which is still getting put together so really dont have the place to work on it, i got like 6 calls this morning so hopefully its gone this week.
