They are the same clutch...

Only difference is the flywheel.

Go put the one you have in!

Rotate the clutch until they do.

Either that or your clutch or flywheel is not for a DSM.

90-99 DSM clutches are all the same. The only difference is that the flywheel is different between models and years. The clutch will bolt up to all of the different flywheels.

EDIT: There ya go...

Care to elaborate a little. Are you saying act clutches only work with act flywheels and same for finanza etc?

No, he is saying for a 1g fwd, you have to use that flywheel. The flywheel is different between most of the model breaks, but the clutch is all the same.

Re: WTB: CLUTCH ASAP by this weekend

What is keeping them from sitting flush? The fingers of the clutch should start to flatten out.

You need to torque it down... Use a torque pattern like a star, (like putting a wheel on a car) to make sure it gets torqued evenly and you dont warp the clutch, tightening each bolt 1/2 a turn or so until the clutch sits flush with the flywheel. Make sure the bolts are torqued to spec.

Also, make sure you don't tighten it down until the clutch is on the car or you won't be able to get the splines aligned on the disk.

Good point, also make sure the clutch disk is installed the correct way otherwise you will snap it.
