If anyone's wondering yes, it's a Z06.

This is the stealth's replacement? What plans do you have for it?

Woo LS6 club! Nice pickup.

Re: Project:No replacment for displacment.

Yes, this is the Stealth's "replacement". So far plans are undefined. If I want to take my autoXing serious, I'll ditch the long tubes, intake and shifter for stock stuff. If not, a cam and put my nitrous kit on it.

For now the plan is to learn how to drive the shit out of it on an autocross course.

P.S. It's a bit orange in the picture, it's actually red.

How will that 6g72 bolt into this?

The car looks great, maybe I could even get a ride in this one. I hope you look into option #2 a little more. What brand long tubes are they? The Stainless works stuff fits great, OBX not so much.

Awesome pick up ryan! Should be a really fun car for you! I have a special place in my heart for vettes. I'd love a ride in that some day.

Very nice car, Ryan! I saw it today close up at the autocross event, it's pretty sweet. Ryan's first run was a quick less on how not to use the go more sideways pedal.

Love it :) I am a fan of corvettes, despite so many of them being out there.

Great pick up, bet is is very fun.

Re: Project:No replacment for displacment.

Mods are Stainless Works longtube headers, no cats, a magnaflow cat back, and a blacksomethingorother air filter. It also has a shifter.

I took some other pics but the car turned out very orange in them due to the sun.

Frist "mod" I do is going to be some tires. It needs them BAD, I was down to 25 PSI in the front and they were just barely starting to roll over. No grip at all. It's looking like I'll be going with Kumho XS's in 275f and 315R, as none of the other good street tires are available in the proper sizes.

Looks very nice Ryan, congradulations on the pickup. I know you are a savvy shopper and probably got a very good deal on it. How many miles? What options? Year?

It's an 2003 Z06, with almost 59K on it. So, 405HP LS6, and big tires (265 front, 295 rear) I didn't spend long looking. Decided to buy A Z06 Sunday night and had this one at home on Thursday. I had a few people going  but it was a good deal and I didn't want to miss out.

Screw autoX rules! Leave it off for autoX and spray it on the street/strip. Hell to the yes!

Re: Project:No replacment for displacment.

^x2 I am sure the car has enough power to be good in autocross with proper suspension/tire setup. Nitrous sounds fun :)

Re: Project:No replacment for displacment.

Nice purchase! Lets see 1000hp on 87. Ditch that turning shit, just pressing th gas and holding on requires way more skill anyways.

Mill the heads to get the CR up, and put that NOS on it.
