i need to find somone who can cut and machine some aluminum for me i would have a local shop do this but cant around here.. im making my own intake manifold and dont have the tools it takes and i dont have the $$ to buy a brand new one and we have had good luck with the ones we built befor... im making somthing like this http://www.galantvr4.org/ubbthreads/...page=0&fpart=1 i can pay you for the stuff you use and time...

there are machine shops but none that would know what thay are doing

They would have a better idea than that top link. Price out the raw aluminum, paying someone to machine it and weld it. You are going to be near the price of just buying one, if not over. Any reputable manifold I have seen is way better than the one above. Square corners on the plenum are bad, there is no taper to the runners and arbitrarily put a taper on the plenum, just because. I am sure it out performed the stock one, but a good manifold would have out performed it and he must have at least $300 into that manifold. Both manifolds are critical to the car, I wouldn't skimp on either of them. Skimp on the exhaust or intake pipe.
