FS: MAP EF1 - $825/obo

I have a T3 manifold that will be here monday and if i don't sell my current turbo it will be a dusty ornament like all the other parts I have on hand.

I trapped 120 with this turbo and so did carl in his full weight 2G, I have no doubt a manual car could trap 123-125 with this turbo.

It holds 35psi to 7500rpm, i discovered this while testing it for them as I had the second one in existence.
It has the genuine evo 3 SS hotside, that is a few lbs lighter than the regular 16g housing, the turbo is completely unported so there is room for improvement there.

I just had it rebuilt a month ago and had the newer upgraded thrust bearing installed.

Some dickhead swiped my car on the freeway today, if I can get cash from insurance quickly enough I'll buy this.

His car would be amazing he would be the one to do a 125+ trap with this turbo.
I put money it would do 30-35psi to 7500rpm even on his stroker.

He needs to buy it i want to see it.

How does this spool in comparison to the std. Evo 3 turbos? I only ask as information about these for DSM applications is rare. I think my 14b is on the way out and need a replacement.

No noticable loss in spool to be honest.

Are you really worried about spool with a 16g? hahaha.

Re: FS: MAP EF1 - $825/obo

No I like the e3 spool... perfect for daily. If the ef1 can hold 35 psi to red just wondering how much lag there is. Sounds like it would still be a perfect daily turbo.

Re: FS: MAP EF1 - $825/obo

lol, none that I ever noticed.
Back when I was running an E316G, i noticed more lag from just porting my FP manifold and hot side compared to this car just switching from E316G to EF1.
