I completely agree with the bottom 10. Every year driving out west is awesome. Never see any cops.
Not sure how Wisconsin is that low though. I always hear about bad cop stories and huge fines. |

If the condition of roads would come into play there is no doubt we'd be near the top.

I was just reading a story about a guy had to replace his muffler on his daily driver because it failed New Jersey's noise test. Sounded like when they go in for emissions test, they test for sound level too. Thats nuts!
This list should look at emission testing, window tinting and vehicle noise laws too. Good read. later, Curt |

New Jersey also ranked lowest in driver knowledge.
GMAC insurance just conducted a study and found New york and New Jersey have drivers with least road knowledge. Idaho and Wisconsin came out on top, Minnesota was ranked 8th. There is a direct correlation between how nasty cops are and how knowledgeable drivers are it seems. :D |

I think if front plate laws and window tint laws were incorporated into this, MN would have been much higher.
