Auto fwd hates moving in reverse
93 talon fwd tsi, opt rebuilt trans and stall speed converter are the only things that are important to to list.
So for almost a year now it's been having this issue of feeling like there's a trans brake on in reverse but I can sometimes pop it in neutral and back into reverse and I can move it at idle for a couple feet before it stops. And also randomly will try and move forward in neutral a little after it binds. A couple of times I was in a hurry to get on with life and just stomped on in and I was boosting just to move... I've done some research but just pulled it out of storage and would like to fix it so I don't have to worry about where and how I park. I've checked the brakes to see if it was binding or seized but they are fine. And as far as beating on it before I parked it last, it hasn't changed anything if I was or not. It's fairly random. Lmk what your thoughts are and thanks for looking. |

Drop the pan and see what you find.

^ what he said. My guess is there is something messed up internally and will probably need to be gone through.

Re: Auto fwd hates moving in reverse
I guess that makes sense, was hoping for something stupid and easy. It's just weird. It's not very consistent. I'll have to try that
