Re: wtb: 255 fuel pump, evo3 16g ect
You can buy the parts to do the fuel pump rewire at just about any hardware store. There is probably a write up of vfaq or tuners. 880s will be overkill for that setup. If you don't have a fuel controller (SAFC, DSMLINK, AEM...), you will need to add that to your list.

The parts needed for the fuel pump rewire and instructions are under the fuel section-

I've got a Walbro 255 that I could sell you for 50.00 even. I didn't need it on my setup, and decided to go with a 190 instead.

Re: wtb: 255 fuel pump, evo3 16g ect
the injectors will be fine, but you will need something to adjust for the injectors, maf-t, dsm-link, or some kind of chip.
i also recomend a boost guage for sure and an wideband o2 sensor |
Re: wtb: 255 fuel pump, evo3 16g ect
Thanks, i want the 880cc so i can run e85 and i already got the boost gauge and aem wideband, and the plan is to buy my friends keydriver chip and have it all setup to my setup. i have other parts like 2g exhaust manifold, mbc, ect.

Re: wtb: 255 fuel pump, evo3 16g ect
Thanks slowbubblecar for the link. I got pretty much everything for the rewire. Jake you can take that off the list. I'm helping him with his build so don't let his post count throw you off :p We know what we need. He will be running E85.

Re: wtb: 255 fuel pump, evo3 16g ect
Keep your nice 1G BOV instead of replacing it with a crappy Greddy.

Re: wtb: 255 fuel pump, evo3 16g ect

Re: wtb: 255 fuel pump, evo3 16g ect
There is a type s forsale and he's gonna pm him. But yea we plan on running 25psi and unless we garage mod his stock bov it's more than likely not gonna hold. If that falls through he'll get more info from you slowbubblecar.

Re: wtb: 255 fuel pump, evo3 16g ect
I've got the stock cams out of my 90 talon thats a 5spd $60/obo

Re: wtb: 255 fuel pump, evo3 16g ect
Stock 1g BOV is preferred by any DSM'er over any greddy or HKS or anything else. From the factory or crushed, it performs flawlessly. You can ask absolutely anyone who have had some experience with DSMs stock 1g BOV is the way to go.

Re: wtb: 255 fuel pump, evo3 16g ect
I have some HKS 264 cams if you would like a slight upgrade over factory. Would work well for a 16g. PM if interested.
Fran- I would like to see people run 35psi on a crushed 1g BOV without issues. They work fine in limited boost applications. Not the best choice for high boost applications though. Everyone go to a tial BOV for the looks or the cool clamp? Many dsmers us 1g BOVs because they are cheap, not because they are the best option. Must be many mis-informed dsmsers on here as there have been a few people looking to get rid of the stocker recently. I am sure I have been around dsms longer than you. I have had a dozen or so come through my hands the last 6-7 years. This a WTB ad, not a discussion thread. |
Re: wtb: 255 fuel pump, evo3 16g ect
