Indeed, I was really bumming about not being able to drive MY car after waiting so long for it, but it should be ready to rock :)

I'm glad that Danny's an expert. He may be installing mine some day. :score010:

I vote keep it in the box until you need it :) Yours and Scheides' stock ones seem to work fine.

Yup, that'd be when he'd install it. :)

Ok...good news...it was leaking at the slave this time, lol. But it was just that the fitting had a loose nut. We tightened that down bleed it a bit more and its all good now :) I was seriously ready to kill myself.

The engagement is so damn high on this thing though. I am not going to mess with it until after the cruise though. I should be good to go.

I am guessing it got jarred loose from the street logging Shane and I were doing. Logs looked great, no knock at all really. Shane just said keep the DD tune on unless you really mean it, lol. He said on the cruise stay with normal tune unless T and C is happening since its too much power for turning.

Is that a typo or is he suggesting that fuel starvation is a concern without a surge tank? I'm not going to tell you that it surprises me.

No, I think he was just saying that the car is making too much power for a noob like me in the turns, lol. I would agree with him. He made it sound like only run the high boost in a straight line. But maybe he did just mean he was worried about fuel starvation.

ROFL. Were you granny shifting instead of double clutching on the road test?

Same thing happened after we removed the pill on rosey's slave cyl and bled the brakes/clutch. All was good but if he'd keep pressure on the clutch (pulled out of my garage and sat there for a min talking to me) it would just bleed pressure out the back side of the banjo bolt. An extra 1/8 turn and topped up the fluid solved that :)

I got uber scared I had another bad master, but all seems well now. Hopefully someone has a 10mm or 11mm (can't remember) just in case on the cruise, lol. I'll bring my DOT4 too...can't be too careful.

I will have a full assortment of hand tools as well as an electric impact in my trunk "just in case". I'm sure others will have various tools as well.

Dude, I don't leave home without the tool box and a 5gal can of E85. If someone has a jack & a set of jack stands then we have anything minor covered.

I have my tools as well. Not as vast of a collection as Kevin, but it's generally enough for most jobs that don't require specialty stuff.

Well good to hear. See you guys in the morning.

EDIT:

I also just switched over to AMS oil 10w-40 full synthetic, a special kind that FP recommends.
