Lol everyone thought he was spraying when he had the bottle on the bike for the air shifter.

^ lol, awe. Good looking out on the free shit though, I am a cheap bastard.

Was pretty determined to get back on the track and do better with a working air shifter. After my first pass and spinning really hard I think I got a little gun shy and was cutting pretty bad 1.6 60' times. I was able to get one or two into the 1.5's again and figured I'd go for broke and try to turn down my kill time a bit. Turn down for 9.0s?!?

Ended up turning the kill time down too much and it didn't have enough kill time to make the 1-2 shift. Pretty much wrecked most of the decent launches I had trying to get it dialed back in.

https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.n...1fa8a32224d63a

I was able to beat my personal best by .004 and the trap speeds were in the 149's all day long on a full pass where I didn't screw something up.

My best 60' time was on the best 1/4 time and on that run the bike carried the front tire through all of first. I kind of wish I could go lower to help combat the wheelie but unless I buy/make a front fender lowering bracket the front can't go any lower and the adjustable link in the back is about maxed out too.

Kind of want to go out to either the midway shoot out in Cedar Falls or go up to Fargo on Oct 4 with some race gas in it, maybe drop a lb or two and go for broke. If I could 60' a 1.49 and had 8-10 more hp from race gas I think it has a 8.99 in it. Whoooooooooooo knows

Re: Brad's New Bike - '12 ZX10R

Put a Pirelli MT 75 90/80/17 tire on the front this weekend. Helped lower the bike a bit, just have to watch for pot holes a bit more.

A comparison of the new tire vs a regular tire I had laying around

Had to install some DME fender lower brackets since without lowering the fender the gap between the tire and the fender was a 2.5 finger gap and just looked silly. Looks pretty stock if you didn't know any better I think.

Bike got a few races in this weekend.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZR-IlUbD24&feature=youtu.be&hd=1

Busa was running a pretty decent sized shot. I think if he didn't get a tiny jump both times I think the bike would have possibly pulled a bit instead of catching back up. Either way it was a good race besides me screwing up the second one lol

Picked up some mr12. Going to dump some of that in on Friday and try and let the autotune do its things Friday then its off to rock falls on Saturday to try/hope for another personal best.

Got my ghetto mini compressor to not leak last night as well. So even though it's not in the tail I'll be able to fill my air tank up to 130psi vs the 95/100psi I could get from the track compressor. Hopeful that with the extra pressure that I can reduce kill time a bit and should maybe/possibly/hopefully help with getting just that tiny bit faster et/mph

Good stuff, racing with that much traffic right next to you seems like a bad idea.

Nice Upgrades. I'm planning on being at Rockfalls on Saturday also. Hopefully I can witness a 8.99. I have a portable air compressor you could try if yours doesn't work. Do you have to refill after each pass?

Probably not the smartest, people must have missed the road closed sign.

When you heading out there? Looking at other time slips today I don't think it really has enough to run the 8.99 but always good to set goals.

I think I might go buy another one in a little bit just in case the ghetto rigged one I have fails but thanks for the offer!! Yep, until I figure out how to mount the compressor on my bike some how or figure out what was going on with my nitrous setup I have to fill it after each run.

I'm planning on being there right away when they open, or soon after. I just watched the video. That thing is badass.

Made it out to Rock Falls on Saturday and the new cycle concept clutch worked great! It was a test and tune day so racing started around 9 and ended around 4:40ish. All the cars left early but the few bikes stuck it out till the end and I'm glad I did :dj:

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y20...ps18adf682.jpg

Ended up hooking after dumping the clutch a little too quick on one run lol.

Was pretty much stuck in the 9.0 range for a good chunk of the day. Towards the end I tried a different technique of laying on the tank more with my feet behind me, it worked a lot better for me. First pass with technique it cracked off a 8.99. 2nd pass it did 8.98 to back it up and the 3rd pass it was too low on gas and the bike bucked on the launch lol.

https://scontent-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hpho...76&oe=54F800A1

I yelled a big yaaaaaaahooooooooo when I got my slip and did a little uncoordinated dance on the bike on the way back to the pits lol.

Cleaned the bike up the next day and did a little photoshoot with a buddy and then had a guy doing rolling shots in the same area. Was always curious to see what it looks like so didn't want to pass that up either.

Bike is now in storage at a buddys place about a hour and a half away. Might get a drag shock over the winter pending how much I can be a hermit this winter and save money. Also going to try and lose 15lbs over the winter, rather get rid of my gut than spend money taking weight off the bike lol

Overall I love this bike. Was able to take it out on pretty good sized road trip and run 8's in the summer without the bike missing a beat.

I wish, too much money for this guy. I think I'd rather buy a built/turbo'd busa for a fraction of the price of a h2. Will definitely be a bad ass bike that's for sure!

Thanks Aaron! Hopefully my fatty self can lose some weight and get that trap speed up a bit next year just by losing a few lbs lol

Thank you! I really didn't like the way they look stock either, I think the lowering the front and mirror block offs really helped it. I wasn't much of a Honda guy until I saw that thing, bike is super clean and awesome looking!

Thanks Chris! No videos of the different technique, think the buddy who was getting some of the runs got tired recording the runs and just wanted to watch and I wasn't really thinking I'd get into the 8s that day.

Thanks! I would love to try and get into the crazy 8's (8.88) consistently. Think that will be the next goal to try and do that on pump gas:drive1: The track is like my crack lol
