You might need to redownload Quicktime. I had the same problem. It said my version of the player was up-to-date, but there was a totally different version of the Quicktime stuff out there and installing that made it work.

holy sh*t, that is crazy, one of my buddies said something about that car a while back but i didn't believe him, i guess i should. Can i get a ride in that thing? that is unbelieveable, i had to watch a couple more times just to make sure.

I ran Nate on the freeway. From a 60 roll and 40. Let's start with the 60 roll. After he stopped spinning he passed me and then shut here down right after passing me. 40 roll was bad. He lit the tires and passed me spinning. NATE GET GOOD TIRES! Nate's car is a beast.

I thought this was pretty interesting.....

I was the black Evo in the other lane as that track run where he 'blew an intercooler pipe'. First thing I found interesting was the whole blew an ic pipe.... he made multiple passes, slower than the one where he supposedly blew the IC pipe... figure that one out.

Second, the best part, is his quote on the speed. First item of interest.. how does a car that blows the ic pipe off somehow gain 25 mph in the last half of the track?? The coolest part is I obviously have my crappy timeslip from that day.. now watch his video and see what he quotes the time at the 1/8th... this is the REAL result:

And lets be honest.... it takes a 1000hp camaro to beat it when my POS with a broke ass clutch killed it? Last time at the track (When I learned how to shift slightly better) I ran an 11.5 @ 123.5

But hey, props to a Honda being somewhat quick but dont pretend like it is an amazing supercar... like I said, my pos kills it.

The proof is in the pudding. Lets see a picture of the timeslip. And Cher don't get defensive because Elite tuned the car or because you are his friend. If this is bullshit then its bullshit plain and simple.

Either way the car is fast and has made power. But if EvilEvo has evidence to dispute the video credibility well then we want to see it.

Warning!! Bench Racing ahead, expect BS!!

Nate got the win light, so I wouldn't say you "beat" him. Sure he beat you at the line, but that's what you get for sleeping. Now as for the discrepancy in the 1/8 MPH I'll leave that up to Nate for an explanation, if he cares to. But I have a guess or two, maybe he was quoting #'s from a different run? And showed the run against you cause the car he raced was still in the picture? Kind of odd that the 1/8 time is exactly the same though. Or he could just be lying, I've seen that first hand. Or rock falls timing shit could still be fucked up, it’s never been quite the same since it got nailed by lightning.

And as for racing again, his trap speed was higher by two MPH, but you gained 29 MPH in the last 1/8, and he only gained 24 MPH. Interesting #'s for sure. But he re-dyno'ed and made 70 more HP, so you would most likely lose.

/End Bench Racing.

P.S. There's allways the chance he pedaled you (like the Mustang) cause you were bracket racing, too.

You went from 12.3@117 to 11.5@123.5 just by learning how to shift?
Where in the fuck is my BS flag... Either you have ALOT done to that car, and there is alot more left, or the car was brand new (to its tune) when you ran it. That is a serious drop in ET and serious gain in MPH for just "shifting errors".

As I was saying before Tim is correct on what he is saying. I was there that day and the DSM that raced him was Vassil. I dont understand why people have to lie about their times... Do you honestly think your going to get more respect because of it? Just like the guy that use the picture of Shanes time slip as if it was his. WTF?!?

I highly doubt his EVO would have any chance of beating that car unless it was on the street and from a dig and the Honda was on street tires.

The reason I say that is because I saw what Ryan's EVO did to Tylers Honda on the street from a dig, probably about the same power to weight difference. When they went from a roll it was no contest, Tylers car pulled away like we were on the brakes.

Either way the whole 1/8 mile thing is goofy and the fact it says that his IC pipe blew off seems weird when he still picked up MPH through the last 1/8.

With that Honda making 500+whp, the EVO would have to have a minimum of about 600+whp to even think of beating it from a roll.

One thing to note is that we know jack shit about what's done to the EVO, he could have a GT42 and 800 HP for all we know.

Here ya go fuckers. I dont see the big deal here really... the kids a fucking lier. My car is faster, as my shitty ass timeslip says. I have ran an 11.5 with the same EXACT setup.. I was lifting off the gas before because the no shift to lift with the UTEC was killing the shifts. Once I started to actually shift without lifting I went faster. This is all at around 26psi also, I now run over 30. Sorry... my car is faster and mine aint all that quick yet. The kid also flat out lied about his time. Here ya go:

I'm not going to say anything about the video or anything like that, as I have no idea what is up, but I will say this.

Don't pretend that your mid 11 second evo is something extraordinary either. You are acting like your evo is gods gift to man or something. Don't get me wrong, the Evo is a great car, but it is not an extraordinary vehicle either. Oh, and don't tell us your car is faster then mid 11s, unless you have proof. Because if everything was theoretical, 90 percent of the guys on DSMStyle would have walked all over your mid 11 second car.

Oh, and don't get too cocky about beating him from a roll. I know you'd have no problem with much of anything from a stop, but from a roll might be another story, especially next year.
