bla blah blah ill believe it when i see if with my own eyes....

Matt D. 12-27-2003 03:52 AM

They've been talking about this for a few months now, and the date of arrival has always been sometime in January. Like santa said... The proof is in the pudding.

JiN 12-27-2003 04:08 AM

I used to go there quite a bit back in the summer time. Usually when these guys put their word on something, they back it up. At least from what I've seen.

Nash 12-27-2003 05:00 AM

Even if they get an AWD dyno I will still take my car to Elite and have Shane tune it.

Same here. I'm not trusting the car to anyone but Shane. And I'd only dyno at Elite even though I'd have to dyno fwd.

AJ 12-27-2003 12:12 PM

They are getting one. Picked it up at SEMA if I remember correctly. It will be a a great thing for the WRXs, 3S's, and the AT DSMs, plus a few more I am thinking.

I think it will be great to get a dyno like that in MN now, but I also agree with going to Shane for tuning. Just look what they did at the last Dyno Fest.

Raptor 12-27-2003 12:35 PM

Maybe Shane is portable for the guys who don't have the easy conversion to 2wd ;) I am sure they would allow a different tuner as long as the dyno time was covered. There is that whole conflict of interest thing that may cause a problem, but a couple properly ordered burritos and you might have that covered. J/K :stick:

Nash 12-27-2003 04:18 PM

It is a great thing for the people who can't, or don't want to, convert their car to 2wd. But until I hear something good things about it I'll just convert my car and bring it up to Elite.

Goat Blower 12-27-2003 04:30 PM

Yay, a Mustang dyno.

Why not a DSM dyno?

I kid! :dsmrule:

Jakey 12-27-2003 09:46 PM

I guess investing in dynos must be looking good, a shop by the name of Zenke Sales & Service down by Winona, in a little BFE town called Nodine, is advertising that their new dynojet dyno arrived recently.

xrtdac 12-28-2003 07:44 PM

FYI. Ron from there had me tune his CRX over at Elite. I dunno who will be tuning cars over there but all I know is that they paid me to tune one of them.

niterydr 12-29-2003 08:50 AM

I will say nothing about tuning in this thead... :censored:
...everyone has there own opinions.
its just nice that a awd dyno will finally make it to the market.

RS14 01-26-2004 10:14 PM

What exactly did you do to Ron's car that made a big difference on horse power, other than playing with the VAFC for seven runs. I was there, and I remember Ron going under the hood to tune the cam gears to actually see 11 horses total on the last two runs. He probably would have seen more tuning it himself. But you wasted runs after runs playing with the fuel curve that didn't really help.

RS14 01-26-2004 10:46 PM

with that said, I'm in need of a turbo for 96 gsx. do you guys at elite have any decent ones?

You might want to add more information as to what you're looking for (stock, bigger, how big, what you want out of the turbo, etc...).

JET 01-26-2004 10:59 PM

And what the hell do you know? What a tool, you come on here and the first thing you do is try to tell one of the best DSM tuners in town that he doesn't know what he is doing?

It wasn't me on the dyno, it was Tyler...

We don't have any stock turbos laying around Elite currently.

xrtdac 01-27-2004 01:19 PM

Who are you anyways RS14?

11 more horse on the last two runs? Where did you get that? Im sorry but he gained more than that before that. The cam gears maybe got him 1-2HP out of it more. Want to come down and look at the dyno sheets? Or you can have Tony from Hand command verify that. Messing around with the Fuel settings was to make it safer instead of running so lean and as well we broadened the powerband by doing so which gave him a wider RPM range of higher power. We also had a problem because the car kept getting a soft cel, thus making it harder to balance it out. I am not trying to dis Ron at all nor Propulshuns. I go there still to see whats up with all of them cause I respect them and Ron. I enjoy hanging out with everyone there when I get a chance to get over there. I was just saying what I said cause it was a fact. Ron came over to Elite and I tuned his car a bit. Thats a fact, its not a lie. Now where did I say anything about what they could do. Ron came over to Elite on a reccomendation I believe from Tony from Hand Command.

Last time I checked I remember a video I watched from that day of Ron saying thanks for what I did and Tony getting all excited and impressed I got so much power out of playing with the fuel settings. JUST FOR YOU RS14: Ron did mess with the cam gears and it helped a bit. Ron knows his shite very well and definately is a good mechanic over there and I also happen to enjoy it when I see cause hes definately a cool guy to talk to, much like everyone over at propulshuns.

All I stated was a fact. If you think all the power came into his car from the cam gears, than thats fine. You beleive what you want.

I apologize to Ron and Propulshuns if that post offended them but I wasn't intentionally doing that.

In my eyes actually I would re-state that RON AND I worked together to get what we did out of it.

propulshun 01-27-2004 04:03 PM

Do you guys have any S200
Do you still have those Dyno sheets. We would like to see them

xrtdac 01-27-2004 05:09 PM

I got them in email. the first run when he came in, the last run I was tuning on, and the last two runs of cam gear playing. Your decision if you want them on here or if you want me to just swing by with them or somethin so you can see it.

We dont have an S200 sitting here but it wouldn't take long to get it. do you have a socketed ECU ready for it?

RS14 01-27-2004 11:28 PM

If you still have those dyno sheets please post them. I just watched the video. 1st dyno at 178 then 174,175,174,175,176,177, 184,186. I have nothing against elite or anybody. I just dont think its right when people focus on a shop that hasn't done anything but to try and get an AWD dyno in town. Maybe you are good at tuning and thats good because we need that. But whatever you know now someone else can learn just as good or better. If you saying the last two runs only did 1 or 2 horses then lets show them. I may be wrong.

At-Least-It's-An-Evo 01-27-2004 11:48 PM

Blah bah bah! 170, 180 whp , what's the difference..... ??!!?!?!?!!??!

JiN 01-27-2004 11:49 PM

10whp actually.

Which is an insignificant margin of error on a turbo car and a whole world of difference on an NA car.

My thoughts exactly.

Don't join a board just to start shit.

xrtdac 01-28-2004 02:55 PM

Although we would not normally post up peoples dyno charts as it is a private matter, at the request of propulshuns and rs motors we are doing so in this case.

THIS WAS EDITED DO TO the possibility that RS14 has no affiliation with Propulshuns or RS motors. It looks like KIKO may be Ron but either way. We are not sure who is who on here cause no one is laying claim.

If that is truly you Ron I will talk to you soon.

Enes 01-28-2004 03:08 PM

dyno run #7 is the desired one !!!

JiN 01-28-2004 03:18 PM

Why the heck are you guys argueing anyway.

kiko 01-28-2004 10:25 PM

What the heck is this? I think you should ask me first if I wanted my dyno sheets posted. You guys have nothing better to do but argue online. and about someone elses business. Please take that off. It's embarassing enough that it doesn't put out anything close to your DSM cars. Now you're making fun of it. Not cool at all.
And about the dyno, Yes it is coming and if you can't wait, don't. We have nothing to prove. All other place are better than us. We are not forcing anybody to dyno with us. But alot of our WRX customers need it here in MN and promised their support. If you want to use the dyno and tune on it you are welcome too. Xrated knows they're welcome here. Bring your own tuner, bring your own tools. blah blah blah about the delivery date but I know myself its not coming til march.
whoever 2003eclipse is PLEASE STOP PICKING ON US, I don't know you are but I've heard of your comments about propulshun and everyone who works there.

Ron again I apologize if this is you on here. someone else under the name of RS14 and under the name of propulshun asked us to post the images. I assumed it was you Ron. I will leave this at that because Elite does not usually do that and it appeared that the requests were coming from the shop propulshuns and you Ron. If this was not the case then I am personally sorry for releasing them and making the mistake that it was not you.
