I saw a white 2G AWD talon with "eclipse" conversion for sale. Apparently it has a blown motor too. Anyone know if this guy is on the board, or do any of you know the person selling it?

Call LSE. It's Nick, last issue was a headgasket and I think that's all worked out. The car was at LSE last I saw it. Sweet ride, biggest problem was wiring and it's been ALL redone. That car needed some work after he bought it and from what I know he got it going real nice.

He was a customer of ours, the vehicle needs a new motor. (compression ring is visible on cylinder number 4). It was brought in for a blown headgasket, which was blown from a build up of a stopleak style product found between the headgasket and head (worked like a stop flow).
Its a very nice car, and a 6blt 2.0 would work nicely for it :).

I have always liked that car. since Krazykorean had it. and then sold it to nick. It is such a nice car. Nick is a pretty cool kid himself.

I talked to him on the phone. Has a ton of bolt ons, but a blown 7 bolt. Ya know whats stupid? Why don't people use all the resources available to them to find a car they want for sale? I found my 2G on ebay, the auction was almost over, and I offered the guy cash and he canceled it. I mean, I look for cars for sale even when I really don't need a car. I guess I'm always looking for deals, or something better. Oh well Im an F-ing weirdo.

I think its a good deal personally, the value of the mods on the car is about what he is asking for.

sorry to dig up an old thread but I was the person who ended up purchasing the car from nick. I have alot of work into the car redoing the suspension, building the motor, rebuilding the turbo, and I am in the process of fixing the shock tower rust right now/torn front bumper. When nick trailered the car to his hunting shack and unloaded it it ripped the front corner off, so if anyone has a oem 2GB white front bumper for sale I want it. Thanks and looking forward to getting to know the forum better and I will be at the next meet.

I know this kid I think, is it Nick Vashro? Because he had a 2g talon with a eclipse conversion he paid wayyyyyy to much for and the engine ended up going to shit on him. Then he tried dumping it to other people online as a lemon without their knowledge and wanted like 15k for it.

Now however he is in acoma from a terrible atv accident. Although he is a horrible person and I hate him with a passion I wish him luck and hope he pulls through.

That's horrible news that Nick is in in a coma. I hope he is ok, anyone know where we might be able to send a card? Some of us got ot know him pretty good through QPR and he was always a pleasent to be around.

Hi all, nick has a caring bridge website if you would live to visit it, it is nicholasvashro and it is very unfourtunate. The last I checked he was still in a coma and he has been since april. Everyone put out your prayers for him, and BTW Nick was easy to work with and ended up selling the car for $3250 so I got a good deal on it. Just wanted to clarify things up for everyone. Oh yeah, sorry again for dragging up an old thread.
