It's all over TV, but it's being shadowed by Hurricane Katrina.
|
Re: 9/11
well i remember when it all happened...i was in first hour,my sophmore year in highschool, the teacher brings a tv in and says please students stop and watch on the screen. After he put the tv on, i remeber seeing a plane flying into south tower. We watched until the buildings fell....i was stun through out the whole day...i had the ignorant thought of the U.S. being invincible until that day....

Re: 9/11
Actually 4 years ago, but definately a day to remember and one we can never forget. I clearly remember where i was that day and when i heard the news through our loudspeaker paging system.

That's enough to get your ass tossed right off this site. I'd suggest logging off for a few days before your forced to find another site to sling your shit. |
Re: 9/11
I remember the entire day as well, I was working at FIrst Contact. Just an insane day. Another situation most can't imagine.

Re: 9/11
I got my license that day. Didnt go to school, just sat home and watched the news until I had my appointment. 4 years later I can still remember everything that happened that day.
Gone.... But not forgotten! |
Re: 9/11
I watched a special on National Geographic today. It was pretty emotional to watch it all over, but it was more interesting because they had updated recordings, and timeline of the events.
|
Re: 9/11
Yep, remember that day like the back of my hand.
|
Re: 9/11
They compare that day with the Kennedy assassination. Everybody remembers where they were and what they were doing when they heard the news.
I was working at my old job when it came over the intercom. |

I rang in this 9/11 with style... in the back of a squad car... I do remember that day, only day of 11th grade I missed school...
|
Re: 9/11
I remember that day. It was so scary. I had just started freshman year and my mom pulled me and my sister out of school. Call me a baby but I cried. My grandpa was supposed to be on that flight or a flight the same day, but he got sick and couldn't go. Scary experience.

Re: 9/11
I watched the footage from about half hour after the first building was hit until about 10PM and I can remember pretty much everything said to people I know throughout the day. I was sad for like a week:(

Re: 9/11
I remember it happening, I was in high school, our class TV sucked.
I remember signing up in the National Guard I remember my deployment in iraq. And then my life was rocked to its foundation when I saw (and understood) this: http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...q=loose+change |
Re: 9/11
We won't ever forget what happened, and people are still feeling the effects of it. Many of the people involved in the rescue efforts have become sick due to the dust and such.
|
Re: 9/11
Cant believe its been that long. I spent a few hours yesterday watching discovery channel were they had a few shows on which went into great detail of how things worked that day.
|
Re: 9/11
I remember being scared shitless because I had just joined the Marines, and didn't want to go to war.

If my math is correct, which it is, 6 minus 1 is 5. But even without newspaper or tv, i hear and see a bunch about it. |

Re: 9/11
I was on the bus to my middle school! I had no clue what the Twin Towers were! But It was played on the radio on the school bus! My bus driver was terrified and started calling people! People screaming over the Bus Radio! Arrived to school, my home room teacher had no clue! Then I told him. We watched and watched as the day went, Kid's were slowly getting pulled out! I can still remember peoples faces on the screen! I wanted in the Army but being and 8th grader! Damn I'm getting worked up a bit.

Re: 9/11
I just sat and watched that video on the link posted above. He makes alot of very valid points and it really makes you think. Honestly, I agree with what he's saying.
|
Re: 9/11
There are some things in there that really make you think, but theres enough shit that he clearly just made up, pulled out of his ass, or quoted from complete bullshit sources.
By the end of that video I was wondering two things: How much shit the government says is really true, and how much shit that guy is saying is really true. Besides, the government is so incompetent and so notoriously bad at coverups that it cant possibly all be one giant conspiracy. |
Re: 9/11
Haha, the last part of what CVD said just now makes me smile.

Re: 9/11
Bump...
:usa1: Please, no debate, no videos, no discussion, just respect. |
