RF on the 27th
 

I see a few people are thinking of going on the 27th ($37 fun day) to Rock Falls. I am planning on heading over there with my car for some shakedown runs on pump gas. Hopefully I can get kicked off the track on pump gas :D Who else is going to head over?

I'll be there. I'm trying to get a few friends up there too, maybe I'll see if I can con Vassil into going and getting kicked out too.

lol i was going to ask Carl if i could borrow his slicks... so i guess you ask for both of us.. drag radials will be there as well for testing purposes.. i am not big fan of them at all.. but i'll try them again ...

Carl, i just want 2 passes on slicks, do you warm them up, 1st 2nd 3rd gear? or do you just clean them up a bit in 1st...
hopefully i don't break anything in the man time..

I wouldn't mind going to run the car for the first time. Sick of risking it on the Cty. Rds doing 60-90 pulls.

Anybody got a wideband O2 they want to sell?

I might come along to watch. I dont really trust that my car wont break down, so I'm not planning on watching. Maybe video tape the runs or something like that. I wish I could run my car... :(

yeah we need someone who can videotape stuff... make sure they are good recordings and not of the clouds and ground ... we can watch that on our own. If you are going to be recording something make sure its either of the car runs or of the ladies...

I remember when we said that once last year. Only two of us showed up... :D. It was around the same time as this year also. We'll see if I can get a good digital video camera from someone. I havent really been recording anything on camera, so I dont know how well it's going to turn out. Maybe we'll see lots of 15-25 second cars in it. :)

That depends on what is wrong with yours! Mine should be running on Sat afternoon if all goes as planned.

I'll probly be there. I got my fuel pump back in yesterday. I just need to do some fine tunning with my new chip. Craig you can try my DR's if you want and Enes you could probly make a few passes on the slicks If a get my 11 or break early.

It is starting to look doubtful for me making it. There is something up with my twin disk. There weren't any instructions and I put it back together exactly how it came (I took pic's to make sure) and it is way too hard to push down. I get to yank the tranny off tonight to check it out. Yay!!

I am not going to be making it. The car will be done today, but I am going to need more tuning time. I have plans tonight already, so I will only have a few hours to do it. I am going to see if any of the other tracks have anything going on next weekend.

Next Friday and Saturday Cedar Falls is having night drags.

I may have to hit up the Sat. drags. I don't see anything else for that weekend for the following one. Cedar Falls has a full day on the 17th though, that sounds like a plan! I should have been on the dyno by then and have a race gas tune, so we will see what happens there.

now i'm leaning to not going due to the issues i'm having..
way untuned.. nothing safely to tune it with, no wideband no boost loging yet :(

i guess it will have to be next time in october...

Enes- if you don't go, i won't feel bad. I'm more not going than going as of now. Not just because of my car issues but i have to take my cat to the vet at 8am now. I'm gonna have to wait myself i guess. Supposed to be 80* tommorow. I'd rather wait for a nice 60-65* cool day out anyway.

I still wanna go. I guess it'll have to be me and carl again like last year on another Fun Day again...Haha. I want to run my car just to see how it's running and how much slower I've gotten. Who's all still going to go tomorrow? If no one's going then I'll probably skip out on this also.

I'm finally going. Got the car loaded up on the trailer, ready to head out first thing. I'm flying a little blind with my AEM calibrations, but as long as I can make a bunch of passes, I'll get that ironed out.
